QUEL EST LE THÈME DE VOTRE DERNIÈRE COLLECTION? Elle s'intitulait "Deuil pour Orlando", et était fondée sur le livre de Virginia Woolf de 1928, "Orlando".

POUR VOTRE DERNIÈRE COLLECTION, VOUS AVEZ TRAVAILLÉ AVEC PETER ASHWORTH POUR LES PHOTOS ET CHRISTIAN LANDON POUR LA COIFFURE, COMMENT LES AVEZ-VOUS RENCONTRÉ ET COMMENT AVEZ-VOUS TRAVAILLÉ AVEC EUX ? Peter Ashworth m'a contacté il y a quelques années pour prendre mon portrait. Nous nous sommes trouvés des visions similaires sur ce que la mode pouvait être et nous avons travaillé ensemble depuis. Christian Landon m'a trouvé dans un club et s'est présenté à moi. Nous sommes devenus de bons amis lorsqu'il vivait en Amérique. J'ai aidé à le convaincre de venir s'installer ici (à Londres NDLR) et il est devenu mon colocataire.

COMBIEN DE PERSONNES SONT INTERVENUES DANS LA PRÉPARATION DE CETTE COLLECTION ? Il y a eu à peu près 30 personnes qui ont aidé à cette collection.

COMBIEN DE COLLECTIONS AVEZ-VOUS RÉALISÉ AVANT CELLE-CI ? J'ai réalisé 3 collections en équipe et une tout seul avant celle-ci.

COMMENT TRAVAILLEZ-VOUS HABITUELLEMENT POUR LA CRÉATION D'UNE COLLECTION? Je trouve un sujet qui me fascine et m'emploie à trouver autant de visuels que je peux. Une fois que j'ai fait ça, une idée claire et évidente se forme sur la façon de traduire toutes les théories que j'ai étudié en création.

VOS VÊTEMENTS SONT-ILS VENDUS À PARIS OU EN LIGNE ? Tous mes vêtements sont haute-couture pour le moment, ils ne sont donc disponible que par mon intermédiaire.

COMMENT AVEZ VOUS CONTRIBUÉ À GAZELLAND MAGAZINE ? Gazelle m'a été présentée à Kash Point, un club dont je m'occupais. Nos idées d'utiliser un magazine comme une plateforme pour les artistes émergents et confirmés de l'avant-garde dans le but de montrer leur travail étaient similaires.

QUEL EST VOTRE CRÉATEUR FAVORI ? Je suis un grand fan de Yohji Yamomoto

QUEL EST VOTRE CRÉATEUR FAVORI MÉCONNU ? Ada Zanditon fait un travail sculptural incroyable en mode femme.

VOTRE NOUVEAU MORCEAU DE MUSIQUE PRÉFÉRÉ ? Lykke Li’s ‘I’m good, I’m gone’. Le clip est génial également.

ARTISTE FAVORI ? René Magritte. ‘Le dormeur’ est ma préférée de ses peintures.

VOTRE OBJET FAVORI ? Mon piano.

LA PROCHAINE IDÉE SUR LAQUELLE VOUS ALLEZ TRAVAILLER ? Je vais explorer plus loin le livre Orlando, l'interprétant en différents matériaux texture et couleurs.

ET BIENTÔT ? Je déménage dans une grande usine à Londres qui me permettra de produire plus de travail.

''WHAT IS THE THEME OF YOUR LAST COLLECTION? It was entitled Mourning for Orlando, and was based on Virginia Woolf 1928 book Orlando.''

''FOR YOUR LAST COLLECTION YOU WORKED WITH PETER ASHWORTH FOR THE PHOTOS AND CHRISTIAN LANDON FOR THE HAIRDRESSING, HOW DID YOU MEET THEM AND WORK WITH THEM? Peter Ashworth contacted me a few years ago asking to take my portrait. We found we had similar visions of what fashion could be and have worked together since then. Christian Landon found me in a club and introduced himself to me. He and I became good friends while he was living in America. I helped convince him to move here (in London) and he became my housemate.''

''HOW MANY PEOPLE GOT INVOLVED IN THIS COLLECTION? There were probably about 30 people who helped out on this collection.''

''HOW MANY COLLECTIONS DID YOU DESIGN BEFORE THIS ONE? I did 3 collections as part of a team, and one solo collection before this one.''

''HOW DO YOU USUALLY WORK FOR THE CREATION OF A COLLECTION? I find a subject that fascinates me, then set about collecting as much visual material as I can. Once I have done this, a clear idea of how I can translate the theories I have studied into a criteria for design become evident.''

''PLEASE TELL ME MORE ABOUT GAZELLAND MAGAZINE, HOW DID YOU GET INVOLVED ? Gazelle was introduced to me at Kash Point, a club I was involved with running. Our ideas of using a magazine as a platform for emerging and established avant garde creatives to show their work.''
